AMY CUNNINGHAM

Exhibit: STEPPE [ Stools, Tables ]
The Steppe range investigates the idea of a 2 dimensional material coming to life as a 3 dimensional object. Each piece utilises geometry to create a simple design out of flat sheet material such as ply or acrylic. The range comprises a large stool, side table and coffee table. They are stackable and multifunctional, with the top of one interlocking within the bottom of another allowing for secure stacking. This design provides a unique interactive 'mix and match' quality that enables the customer to pick a unique colour range or material that suits their space, by utilising the concept behind the Steppe range. A small scale portable stool for commercial applications will be the next addition to the range.
