DESIGN AIRPORT LOUNGE

DESIGN INTENT: Design and create a contemporary seating System that incorporates a variety of activities. Sit, sleep and eat.

INSPIRED BY: The simple doodle on a page. From there it took on a life of its own and evolved into a Sculptural and functional design.

MATERIALS: Lounge: Prototype consists of High Density Polystyrene with a Fiberglass outer shell, painted in automotive acrylic lacquer . The Production Run would either be laminated Plywood with a 2 Pac painted finish or Polystyrene filled Fiberglass Shell painted with automotive acrylic lacquer

MATERIALS: Coffee Table: Laminated Ply, outer surface to be painted with an automotive acrylic lacquer and then the inner surfaces to have the client's choice of either a different automotive acrylic lacquer or a textile print or pattern.
